Privacy & cookies
What we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Summary
College of Lived Experience Recovery Organisations CIC is the data controller, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact enquiries@clero.co.uk.
We collect what you give us through the membership, newsletter and contact forms, and use it only for the purpose you gave it. Newsletter consent is separate from membership and is confirmed by email before we send anything. We never sell data.
This site sets no cookies you haven't agreed to. There are no advertising or social-media trackers. If we enable analytics it will be a privacy-preserving service that needs no cookie banner.
Data is stored in the UK and EEA. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing membership@clero.co.uk, and you can complain to the ICO if you think we've got it wrong.
Prototype note: full policy to be rewritten for UK GDPR / DPA 2018 — the current site's policy references the EU–US Privacy Shield (invalidated 2020) and relies on implied cookie consent.
